Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit

Your first month's rent check and security deposit are both due at the lease signing. Confirm the amounts with our team in advance.

Move-in Date & Inspection

We will set your move-in date and provide inspection information at the lease signing.


You need to place all utility accounts for your rental home in your name immediately after signing the lease. Failure to do so promptly may result in outages, and you will be responsible for any fees associated with restoring access to your rental.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

If you're planning to move, please provide written notice of your intent to vacate. Refer to the terms of your lease.

Property Condition

Your home needs to be brought back to rent-ready condition before you hand in the keys:

Rental Cleaning: Your rental should be properly cleaned, with all of your belongings removed from the premises. Pay careful attention in the bathrooms and kitchen, wiping down all hard surfaces and sanitizing properly. Please vacuum/sweep all floors.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: Make certain to address all necessary landscaping chores at your rental home once more before vacating the premises.

Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, please take the necessary steps to make repairs. Replace broken glass, patch nail and screw holes, and repaint any discolored walls.

If more serious damage needs addressing, contact our team to find a solution.

Security Deposit

We will perform a final inspection after your departure; if we identify any damage during this inspection, we will make the necessary repairs and use the funds from your deposit to cover these expenses.

Please remember, you cannot use your deposit to pay your final month's rent bill. Failure to pay your bill may result in adverse legal action and reporting to the relevant credit bureaus.
