Repair request

Please read through the common issues below before submitting a request.

  • If your toilet is clogged, there may be something blocking the pipe. You can typically unclog a toilet using a household plunger. Simply press the plunger into place over the drain and pump the handle multiple times to push the clog through.

Do not flush your toilet on your own but wait for the basin to drain on its own, or you may cause a flood.

  • If one of the other drains in your bathroom is either draining slowly or clogged completely, you may be able to use a hand tool like an auger to clear the drain.

Please do not pour drain cleaning chemicals into the pipes, as these can damage your plumbing system.

  • If you lose electrical power in your rental home, contact the utility provider to troubleshoot the issue. There may be localized outages on the grid or a billing discrepancy on your account could be at fault.

  • If you don't have hot water in your rental, locate the water heater and verify that the settings are accurate. If the tank is powered by gas, verify that the pilot light is still lit.

If you make any changes to the settings, wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water again; this will give the heater time to function properly.

  • If your HVAC system isn't working properly, use the central thermostat in your rental to troubleshoot. You may be able to turn the system off and back on to restore the defaults.

If you're unable to resolve the issue on your own, contact us for help.
